Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data GetLeads Direct collects, why, and what you can do about it. We've written it in plain English.
Who we are
GetLeads Direct ("GetLeads", "we") is a trading name of SVE Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 16822306), 2 Lormay Place, Westbury, Brackley NN13 5NJ. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@getleadsdirect.com.
This notice covers three groups of people:
- People we email for business, on our own behalf or for our clients.
- Our clients, and people who ask us for a free sample.
- Visitors to this website.
1. People we email for business
What we collect: your name, job title, the company you work for, your work email address, company details (such as company number, address, website and industry), and a record of the emails we send you and any reply.
Where it comes from: public sources (Companies House, your company's own website and public business listings) and business contact databases, currently Instantly.
Why we use it: to send you a small number of short, relevant business emails, either about GetLeads or on behalf of a client whose service may be useful to your business.
Our lawful basis: legitimate interests, ours and our clients', in offering relevant services to businesses. We only contact people in their work role at limited companies and LLPs, we keep emails few and relevant, and every email tells you how to opt out. We have weighed these interests against your rights and expectations.
Who sees it: if we email you for a client and you reply, that client sees your reply and contact details so they can answer you. People who ask us for a free sample, and clients we email for, may see your name, job title, company and town. They only see your email address if you reply. Our service providers (listed below) process it for us.
How long we keep it: up to 12 months after our last email to you, unless you become a client or ask us to delete it sooner. If you opt out, we keep your email address or company domain on our do-not-contact list so that you are never contacted again.
Your right to object. You can stop all emails from us and from every client we send for, at any time: reply "stop" to any email, use our opt-out page, or email hello@getleadsdirect.com. We act on it within 2 working days.
2. Clients and free sample requests
What we collect: your name, email address, company, website, details of your ideal customer and your offer, and the emails we exchange. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
Why we use it: to send your free sample, provide the service you pay for, take payment, answer your questions and keep business records.
Our lawful basis: taking steps at your request and performing our contract with you; our legal obligations (we keep accounting records for 6 years); and legitimate interests, for one short follow-up after a free sample.
3. Website visitors
We use two analytics tools to see how visitors use this site, so we can improve it: Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits, and PostHog, which records pages viewed, clicks and how the page is used, stored in the EU. Neither sets cookies or stores anything on your device, anything typed into our forms is hidden from recordings, and IP addresses are not kept. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and some images from ideogram.ai, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them.
Service providers we use
- Google Workspace: email
- Instantly: sending emails, collecting replies and business contact data
- Stripe: payments
- Supabase: our database
- Vercel: website hosting and analytics
- PostHog: website analytics (EU)
- Firecrawl: collecting public business information
Some of these providers store or process data outside the UK, for example in the EU or the USA. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@getleadsdirect.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK data protection regulator at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
